John Kacere (1920–1999) was an American painter best known for his photorealist works depicting female body parts, including lingerie-clad torsos. He began his career exploring Abstract Expressionism before turning to Photorealism in the 1960s. His paintings, often large in scale, are distinguished by their meticulous attention to detail and light. Kacere is considered a major figure in the Photorealist movement.
