What is a " cookie » ?

Cookies are data stored in an Internet user's terminal equipment and used by the site to send information to the Internet user's browser, and allowing it to return information to the original site.

Cookies allow status information to be stored, for the duration of the cookie's validity, when a browser accesses the various pages of a website or when the browser subsequently returns to this site.

Only the issuer of a cookie can read or modify the information contained therein.

There are different types of cookies:

  • Session cookies that disappear as soon as you leave the site;
  • Permanent cookies that remain on your device until their lifespan expires or until you delete them using your browser's features.

Purposes of the cookies used

Some cookies are used by LYNART:

  • Cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the website: these allow you to access the main features of the site. Without these cookies, you will not have access to optimal navigation.
  • Analytical cookies: these cookies allow us to analyze the traffic and use of the website so that we can improve it if necessary.

What cookies do we use?

The cookies used on the site are third-party cookies chosen exclusively by LYNART for the purpose of achieving specific objectives.

LYNART uses services offered by Google Inc.

The data collected through cookies is transmitted and stored by Google Inc.

Google Analytics and Google Tags Manager services allow us to count visitors and identify how they use the site. These cookies are stored and read on the user's terminal equipment as soon as the user accesses a website using the "Google Analytics" service.

The data generated by these cookies concerns:

  • Your use of the Site;
  • Your IP address to determine the city of connection. This data is immediately anonymized after localization and is not communicated to LYNART.

You can get more information about the Google Analytics service by going to the page http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html

Consent

LYNART uses cookies subject to your prior consent. When you first visit the website, a banner will appear to inform you of the existence of cookies. You have the option to give us your consent or not.

You also have the option to manage the cookies used on the site, at any time, by configuring your browser, as detailed below.

Consent is provided for in Article 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016, which came into force on May 25, 2018, known as GDPR. Consent must be free, enlightened and unequivocal.

To do this, as soon as you enter the site, you are given the option to choose to accept or refuse the reading and storage of cookies on your device (whether it is a computer, a tablet or a mobile phone).

If you give your consent, you can change your decision at any time by changing your cookie settings on your browser.

Any inaction on your part or action that does not constitute a positive act regarding consent, such as closing the cookie banner, is considered a refusal.

Retention period

In accordance with CNIL guidelines, cookies are stored for a maximum of thirteen months. The information collected by cookies is stored for a maximum of twenty-five months.

After the cookie's lifetime has expired, or if you voluntarily delete the cookie, a banner will reappear on your next visit to our website and you will again have the opportunity to give us your consent.

Cookie management

You have several options for deleting cookies.

Indeed, while most browsers are set by default to accept the installation of cookies, you have the option, if you wish, to choose to accept all cookies, or to systematically reject them, or to choose those that you accept depending on the issuer.

You can also configure your browser to accept or reject cookies on a case-by-case basis before they are installed. You can also regularly delete cookies from your device via your browser. Don't forget to configure all the browsers on your different devices (tablets, smartphones, computers).

Each browser has a different configuration for managing cookies and your choices. It is described in your browser's help menu, which will tell you how to change your cookie preferences.

However, we inform you that by configuring your browser to refuse cookies, certain features, pages and areas of the site will not be accessible, for which we cannot be held responsible.

We also draw your attention to the fact that, when you object to the installation or use of a cookie, a refusal cookie is installed on your terminal equipment. If you delete this refusal cookie, it will no longer be possible to identify you as having refused the use of cookies.

Similarly, when you consent to the installation of cookies, a consent cookie is installed. Consent or refusal cookies must remain on your terminal equipment.

Protection of personal data

According to the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016, which came into force on May 25, 2018, it is mandatory for the data controller of a site to ensure that personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the provisions of the law.

The General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016, which came into force on May 25, 2018, therefore requires that personal data be collected exclusively after the consent given by the user.

You can therefore determine whether or not you want your personal data to be collected on the cookie banner that appears on the home page when you enter the site for the first time.

As mentioned, it is possible to change this choice at any time in your browser settings.

We refer you to our Privacy Policy for more information.
