This is a unique artwork from the Great Expectations series. The print will be hand signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the series label on the back. The artwork will be supplied ready to hang on the wall and will not require framing - the artwork will have a frame on the back, on which it can be hung.
Each Great Expectations print will only exist once, making it a great opportunity to own a unique and individual piece by Damien Hirst.
At the centre of these artworks are emoji-like grids of pregnant women whose shapes have been constructed from paint smudges of various shapes, sizes and colours taken directly from artworks in The Currency series. The collection references some of the most iconic images from Hirst’s monumental career. While the basic structure and shapes are repeated throughout the series, each piece is individualised and unique by its colour or a unique combination of attributes. Not all 10,000 copies in the series will be printed.
It is estimated that your artwork will ship in April 2024.
