This is a unique piece of art from the Great Expectations series. The print will be hand-signed by Damien Hirst on the front and numbered on the label on the back of the series. The work will be delivered ready to hang on the wall and will not require framing - the work will have a frame on the reverse, on which it can be hung.
Each Great Expectations print work will only exist once, which is a great opportunity to own a unique and individual piece by Damien Hirst.
At the center of these works of art are grids of pregnant women resembling emojis whose shapes were constructed from paint blobs of different shapes, sizes and colors taken directly from artwork from The Currency series. The collection references some of the most iconic images from Hirst's monumental career. While the basic structure and shapes are repeated throughout the series, each piece is individualized and unique by its color or by a unique combination of attributes. Not all 10,000 copies of the series will be printed.
It is estimated that your work will be shipped in April 2024.
