From October 25 to 31, 2025, the iKonica Art Gallery in Milan hosts the fourth edition of “AQUARS”, an international collective exhibition curated by Eva Amos and presented by Art Space Milano. This year’s edition gathers more than thirty artists from across the globe, united by a theme both universal and vital: water – a source of life, reflection, and transformation.
Among the featured names, Richard Prince, represented exclusively by our gallery, presents two new and captivating works — Vivid Tropic and Palm Harmony Retreat — continuing his exploration of the delicate dialogue between nature, perception, and emotional resonance.
Between Transparency and Immersion: The Aquatic Vision of Richard Prince
In his recent work, Richard Prince dives deep into the interplay of light, memory, and chromatic vibration.
In Vivid Tropic, the artist captures the essence of tropical vitality — an energetic palette where oceanic blues blend with sunlit hues, creating a rhythm that seems to breathe. Here, water is both surface and depth, a mirror of the soul and a gateway to inner landscapes.
By contrast, Palm Harmony Retreat reveals a gentler tone: minimalist, serene, and contemplative. Its fluid geometry evokes reflections on still water, suspended between dream and reality. Together, these two works form a visual meditation on escape, harmony, and emotional clarity — a call to reconnect with a state of quiet luminosity.
Water as a Mirror of Our Time
The AQUARS IV project, shortlisted for the Cultura + Impresa Award, aims to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving water resources.
Each participating artist brings a personal vision of this essential element — as matter, metaphor, and memory.
For Richard Prince, water is not merely a motif, but a living metaphor for purity, resilience, and renewal. His compositions, fluid yet intentional, remind us that art can be both a space for consciousness and a space for wonder — where visual poetry meets ecological reflection.
An International Dialogue Through Light and Motion
In the vibrant setting of Milan, Richard Prince’s participation stands out as one of the exhibition’s highlights. His refined visual language — both contemporary and timeless — resonates within a global dialogue among artists from China, Finland, Norway, Turkey, and beyond.
Curated by Eva Amos and art consultant Elisabetta Roncati, AQUARS IV celebrates the unifying power of art to transcend borders through the elemental force of water.
Conclusion: The Art of Escape
Through Vivid Tropic and Palm Harmony Retreat, Richard Prince invites viewers on a journey toward inner serenity and luminous emotion.
Between tropical energy and meditative stillness, his works offer a rare harmony — a poetic escape where light flows like water, and water becomes thought.
