Yue Minjun Collection – Contemporary Art
Discover our collection dedicated to Yue Minjun, a leading figure of contemporary Chinese art, globally renowned for his characters with eternally frozen grins. Through caricatured self-portraits and a highly recognizable style, he ironically critiques the absurdities of society, power, and modern cultural norms.
Influenced by cynical realism, Yue Minjun has developed since the 1990s a body of work that is visually striking and deeply critical: faces distorted by laughter, absurd scenes, and vibrant colors, often set against neutral or symbolic backgrounds. This collection features limited edition prints, graphic works, and rare reproductions, faithfully reflecting his provocative yet fascinating universe.
Perfect for enthusiasts of Asian contemporary art, social critique through imagery, or iconic symbolic figures, this selection offers exclusive access to the work of a major international artist.
