Description: This book presents two major exhibitions by Daniel Arsham — one at the Musée National des Arts Asiatiques – Guimet in Paris, and the other in New York — showcasing a new body of sculptures and paintings by the artist.
It includes an essay by Sophie Makariou, president of the Musée Guimet, and another by Glenn Adamson, independent curator and author. To create this body of work, Arsham drew upon the extensive collection of molds produced by the Ateliers d’Art du RMN – Grand Palais. His studio collaborated with the RMN’s master sculptors to bring these works to life, resulting in a unique blend of historical reference and contemporary artistic vision.
