Ski Mask Way (2024) is a new work from Mark Drew — the Australian artist whose practice of splicing hip-hop lyrics and cultural references onto the visual language of American comics has earned him a devoted international collector base at the intersection of fine art printmaking, music culture, and graphic design. The title references the 50 Cent track that made "ski mask way" a phrase synonymous with a particular strain of early 2000s New York rap — raw, street-level, unapologetically specific about the realities of the world it described.
