Description: Banksy's Soup Can is a clear nod to Andy Warhol's famous 1962 series of Campbell's Soup Can paintings, which were later reproduced as prints. In contrast to Warhol's homage to the endlessly reproduced images of consumer society, Banksy offers a biting critique of the supermarket giant that has taken over the contemporary market.

The print shows cans of soup of the same flavor—as opposed to Warhol's range of flavors—showing the harsh reality and monotony of surviving on a budget. It evokes the vintage aesthetic now used by supermarkets such as Tesco to sell British products.
