Description: This complete set of six Cherry Blossoms exhibition posters was created for Damien Hirst’s first-ever solo exhibition in France, presented at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris in 2021. Each poster features a unique design from Hirst’s bold and expressive Cherry Blossoms series.

The Cherry Blossoms paintings mark a powerful return to painterly gesture, full of color, texture, and spontaneity. “The Cherry Blossoms are about beauty, life and death. They’re excessive – almost vulgar… They’re about desire and how we perceive things around us, but they also show the incredible, fleeting beauty of a tree in blossom against a clear sky,” Hirst notes. The series celebrates both the decorative and the ephemeral, resulting in a body of work that is striking, joyful, and deeply reflective.
