USA 666 (1971) is part of Robert Indiana’s celebrated Decade portfolio, which reinterprets one of his iconic canvases for each year of the 1960s. This edition is based on Indiana’s 1966 painting USA 666 and exemplifies his bold use of typography, color, and symbolism at the height of the Pop Art movement.

Minor details include a faint horizontal abrasion above “USA/HUG,” archival linen tape on the verso perimeter from prior framing, and a nearly imperceptible crease in the white paper near “USA/EAT.” These subtle aspects do not detract from the visual strength and collectability of the piece.
