Description: Lobsang Durney is a visionary contemporary Chilean artist, born in Valparaíso and currently based in Barcelona. His work explores surreal, post-apocalyptic worlds where reality and imagination collide, each piece functioning like a cinematic scene with its own story, characters, and atmosphere.

In Alcazabot, Durney’s unique visual language is fully expressed through his meticulously constructed environments, populated by biomechanical machines that evoke dystopian landscapes reminiscent of the Mad Max universe. Despite the apocalyptic setting, his works carry a paradoxical sense of continuity — life goes on, even in a world of ruins.
